To ensure GlanceMind can properly provide automated services for your TikTok accounts, please follow these account configuration requirements. These requirements are based on TikTok platform's technical limitations and security policies.

Must Use US-Registered Accounts

Why Must It Be US Region?

TikTok uses different API endpoints and security policies in different regions. Our system currently only supports US region TikTok accounts for the following reasons:

• ✅ API Compatibility: US region API interfaces are the most stable
• ✅ Feature Completeness: US version TikTok has the most comprehensive features
• ✅ Fewer Restrictions: Compared to other regions, US region has more relaxed API call limits

How to Verify Account Region?

1. Open TikTok App
2. Go to Settings → Account → Region
3. Confirm it shows United States

WARNING

Using non-US registered accounts will not work properly and may cause:

• API request failures
• Feature malfunctions
• Account restrictions

🔒 Proxy IP Requirements

Must Use US Region Proxy IP

Why Need US Proxy?

TikTok determines access source based on your IP address. Using non-US IP to access US accounts triggers the platform's security detection mechanism.

🛡️ Risk Control Strategy

Key Principle: Avoid All Accounts Using Same Proxy

Why Can't Share Proxy?

TikTok's risk control system monitors the following abnormal behaviors:

• Multiple accounts logging in from the same IP address
• Large number of similar operations in a short time
• Behavior patterns not matching normal users

Best Practices:

1. One Account One Proxy (Recommended)

Account A → Proxy IP 1 (California, US)
Account B → Proxy IP 2 (New York, US)
Account C → Proxy IP 3 (Texas, US)

Advantages:

• ✅ Safest, complete isolation between accounts
• ✅ If one account has issues, doesn't affect other accounts

2. Proxy Pool Rotation

If budget is limited, you can use a proxy pool:

Proxy Pool: 10 US residential IPs
Account Count: 30
Strategy: Randomly assign proxy to each account, rotate periodically

Configuration Recommendations:

• Proxy count should be at least 1/3 of account count
• Rotate proxy every 24 hours
• Avoid adjacent accounts using same proxy

3. Geographic Distribution

Choose proxy IPs from different states:

Account Group 1: California (3 IPs)
Account Group 2: New York (3 IPs)
Account Group 3: Texas (3 IPs)
Account Group 4: Florida (3 IPs)

Advantages:

• Simulate real user distribution
• Reduce batch operation characteristics
• Improve account security

⚙️ Configuration Steps

Step 1: Prepare US TikTok Account

1. Register New Account (Recommended)

   • Use US phone number or email
   • Register under US IP environment
   • Complete personal profile

2. Or Use Existing Account

   • Confirm account region is US
   • Check account status is normal
   • No violation records

Step 2: Configure Proxy (Using Chrome Plugin)

Since this tool uses Chrome browser for automation, you need to configure proxy separately for each account's browser environment.

Recommended Tools:

• Proxy SwitchyOmega (Chrome Plugin)
• Or other reliable Proxy management plugins

Operation Flow:

1. Run login command to open browser for specified account:

   glance> login account_1

2. Install Proxy SwitchyOmega plugin in the opened Chrome browser.
3. Open plugin settings, create new scenario mode (Profile).
4. Fill in your US proxy information:
   • Protocol: HTTP / HTTPS / SOCKS5
   • Server: Your proxy IP
   • Port: Proxy port
   • Authentication: Username/Password (if any)
5. Apply changes and select to connect through this scenario mode.
6. Visit whoer.net or ipinfo.io to verify IP shows as US.

TIP

This is an account-level configuration. If you manage multiple accounts, you need to open browser for each account separately to install and configure the plugin, ensuring each account uses independent proxy IP.
